Trademark Licence Terms

Trademark Licence Terms for Use of the London Life Sciences Week Registered Trademarks 00004059126 and 00004059128:

  1. The United Kingdom trademarks with registration numbers 00004059126 and 00004059128 (the "Trademarks") are co-owned by: (1) London & Partners Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 07493460, and (2) The BioIndustry Association, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 01889626 (“Licensors”).
  2. Use of the Trademarks is granted strictly subject to these Licence Terms. These Licence Terms constitute standard terms and do not require signature by the Licensors or licensee to be effective. Acceptance of these Licence Terms is deemed to occur upon use of the Trademarks.
  3. The right to use the Trademarks granted under these Licence Terms shall have a term not exceeding twelve (12) months from the date of first use, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Licensors.
  4. The licensee shall strictly adhere to the trademark brand usage guidelines in its use of the Trademarks, which are attached here, and as may be amended or supplemented from time to time by the Licensors.
  5. Any breach by the licensee of the trademark brand usage guidelines or any other provision of these Licence Terms shall result in automatic termination of the licence without notice.
  6. The licence granted under these Licence Terms shall be royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-assignable, and non-sub-licensable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Licensors.
  7. The licence is granted solely for the purpose of promoting London Life Sciences Week and for no other purpose.
  8. These Licence Terms do not provide any indemnity or warranty by the Licensors in respect of any claim by a third party alleging that the use of the trademarks infringes such third party’s intellectual property rights. All liability arising from the licensee’s use of the trademarks is expressly excluded, and such use shall be at the licensee’s sole risk.
  9. These Licence Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
