Outcome of the Spending Review
The Chancellor's Spending Review, delivered on 11 June, set out the Government’s priorities for public investment from 2026 until 2030, with consequences for UKRI and Innovate UK, the British Business Bank, the NHS and MHRA, among many other government agencies critical to the success of the life sciences sector.
The Spending Review also indicated the levels of investment ambition for the upcoming Industrial Strategy and Life Sciences Sector Plan, which were both scheduled to be published later in June.
